Q. How do I become a member?
A. The QGS does not require formal membership to enjoy the benefits
of our Concert Series and Master Classes. In other words membership is
free. We ask only that you try and attend at least one concert a year.
In return we will send you our brochure at the beginning of the year
and provide you with reminders about coming concerts. You can receive
this information via email or by post. Please fill in the membership
form.

A. Concessions are available for students and pensioners

Q.Is there a suggestions box?

Q. What happens if I am late for a concert?
A. Tut tut, you will be asked to wait outside the door and allowed
in at a suitable break in the performance (usually at the end of a selection).
Q. What should I do if I loose my tickets?
A. Contact the ticket manager.
Q. Are there always seats available on the night?
A. Yes. There are 250 seats in the auditorium.
Q. Can I pre book selected seats?
A. Yes, if the seats you require are not already taken.
Q. Where are the Concerts?

Q. How long are the concerts?
A. Concerts begin at 8pm and finish around 9.45pm. There is a 20
minute interrmission. There is also an informal gathering after the concert
at the Cafe Nouveau, West End, Brisbane.
Q. Is there plenty of parking?
A. Yes. See concert venue for a map.
Q. What kind of music is played?
A. Predominately classical and flamenco guitar music performed on
traditional classical and flamenco guitars. The music is international
in flavour and ensembles featuring the guitar and other instruments are
frequently featured.
Q. What happens if concert details are altered?
A. These details will be placed on the web site. You will also be
notified if possible. Also please see Tickets sales conditions
Q. Are there meetings or get togethers for local players?
A. After every concert there is an informal get-together at Cafe
Nouveau, West End, where the audience can meet the performer. There is
an annual general meeting around November.
Q. What about disabled access and provisions for those with hearing disabilities?
A. There is disabled access from the ground floor car park. Those
with hearing disabilities can be allocated seats close to the stage.
Q. Are there refreshments available?
A. Yes, at interval. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available.
